Complex Sentences

Complex Sentence: It has an Independent and Dependent clause in the sentence
.
Independent Clause: Stands alone in a sentence.

Dependent Clause: A sentence that starts with subordinating conjunction like because, while, although, where and will need a coma in the sentence if starts with Dependent Clause.

Complex Sentences:

Because my dog ran away, I cried all night.
While it was raining, I was inside.
After it rained, I went mud running.

We are in the hospital because we got in a car accident.
We got hit by a car since we were in the middle of the road.
We were having fun until Joe got hurt.
