Complex sentences

A complex sentences is when a independent and dependent are together in a sentence.
A independent is a sentence at can stand alone and make sense.
A dependent is when a sentence can not stand alone and it needs help making sense.

• Because he was sick, he couldn't go to school today. 
• The basket ball team had a game today, so they need to dress up.
• As long as they didn't get caught by their boss, the people wouldn't be late, 

• The dog had to go to the vet because he was sick.
• A lot of cars were in the shop getting fixed because there was accented.
