What is a simple sentence?
A simple sentence is a sentence that has one independent clause and no comma or conjunction.

What is a compound sentence?
A compound sentence is a sentence that has two independent clauses, a comma, and a conjunction.

Simple Sentence:

I went hunting this weekend. 
My cousin shot an eight pointer.
I was very cold. 

Compound sentence:
We only saw a four pointer, and about 8 does.
Opening day was very windy, and cold the next day was in the negatives.
Mr. Thick is a very large ten pointer, it weighs around 200 plus pounds.

Book I love to read

the book i am reading is called The River By; Gary Paul-sen.
 I chose to read this book because i have read alot of his books and i really enjoy reading them and there not boring.

Reading Materials

For my reading materials I chose two books about sports. I chose books about sports because I enjoy sports a lot such as football and wrestling. One of my books is called Believe The Victorious Story Of Eric LeGrand, my other book is called Takedown. The book about Eric LeGrand is about football which I enjoy a lot. My other book is called Takedown, and is about wrestling which I enjoy a lot too.

Heroes of Olympus

The Heroes of Olympus series is a five star series! It is a sequel series to Percy Jackson & The Olympians. In this series 7 teenagers travel to Greece to try and stop Gaea and her giants but on there way to Greece they have to stop a lot. It doesn't help that they are traveling in a flying boat that gets taken over every other week my evil sprites. All in all this is a really good series.

The Dead & The Gone

The dead and gone is the sequel to life as we knew it by Susan Beth Pfeffer. It´ s about a boy Alex who has to take care of his sisters after his parents disappear. This all happens after an asteroid hits the moon knocking it closer in orbit.  It catastrophically alters Earth´s climate as well as causing blackouts and   tsunami´s. Now Alex has to fight to survive. I give 4 stars.

Along For The Ride By Sarah Dessen

Along for the Ride is about a girl named Auden. Shes very reserved, and thinks she knows everything. Her parents got divorced when she was little and after that she decided that if she doesn't want to get hurt, she shouldn't trust or love anyone. Later on her dad convinced her to go to his new beach house, he just had a new baby and he wants her to stay the summer. She wants to stay far away from everyone, but soon she gets a job and it becomes very hard to do. She starts talking to a few girls and they become friends. Along the process she meets a boy. Hes also reserved because his best friend passed away a few years back. Soon they both open their hearts and learn to trust people more. Overall, I really enjoy this book. Sarah Dessen is by far my favorite author, and its like an on going movie in your head that you never want to end.

Sand Dollar Summer by Kimberly K. Jones

My book, Sand Dollar Summer is about a girl named Lise who learns that you can't dislike something or someone if you didn't try it. Lise's mom gets into a car accident and is in a wheel chair now. Her mom wanted to go on a vacation to an island by the ocean. Lise's idea of an island resort on an ocean is very different than her mothers. When Lise found out where she really was going, Fiddle beach Maine she was not excited. She was horrified of what her little shack looked like when she got to the beach and wanted to go home. She ended up meeting very nice people that she would not even talked to if she was in her hometown. Over all it was a good book but it was a little boring and not very challenging.

The Otherworldlies

This book is getting better and better! Fern is learning a lot more about herself, her family and her friends. The book is getting more dramatic and the author is really good at describing the feelings of the characters and describing the scenes. I would recommend this book to boys or girls that like suspense, drama, adventure and/or fantasy.

Tested

I am currently reading this book and so far I think it is okay but not the most exciting. It is about a girl named Monica that goes to visit her mom's friend that has a son the same age as Monica. They go to a movie together but Monica has a boyfriend back home. I would rate this book 3 stars.

The Final warning

"The final warning" a very good book, lots of detail. Almost seems like its a non-fiction book. Full of action, and real life situations. It isn't too challenging to read either, its perfect. Not to hard to read, but not too easy to read. Great book!!!

The Catcher in the Rye

          I am at the end of my book. As I get closer and closer to the end I wonder what is he going to do as far as school and his parents? He has been kicked out of his school and living in a hotel so his parents don't know, He has secretly entered his house in the middle of night and.......
I'm super excited to see what happens next. Its a great read and hope you might want to check it out.

Umbrella Summer

Umbrella Summer is a funny, sweet, and interesting book about Annie Richards. Annie tries to have a fun summer, but a safe one too, while also making new friends. She lost someone close to her and tries to cope with it by being safe. She has to overcome many obstacles with her family and friends. It may sound boring, but it's very fun and sweet too. I give this book 4 stars. The book is by Lisa Graff, and she wrote some other books that also sound pretty good, too.

Wildlife

I am reading the book Wildlife and I am almost done. The book was very interesting and kept me guessing what was gonna happen next. The book was mainly about Eric going to his grandmas in North Dakota and running away with this dog he found while he was out there. He learns to live off the land and figures out new abilities that he had no idea he had. I would recommend this book to people who like survival and adventure.

Wereworld

At first the book is very slow-paced but after about page 40 it gets pretty good, the books are about a teen named Drew, you can pretty easily figure out that there is something wrong with him from the beginning, his parents knew the whole time, there isn't much else I can say without spoiling the book though.

The Mark of Athena By: Rick Riordan

This book is amazing! I am not done with it yet but so far it is awesome. I love the characters and their personalities! This is the 3rd book to the Heroes of Olympus sequel series to Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It is a really good book and I highly recommend it. :)

Tucket´s Travels

This is a really good book about surviving in the west in the 1800´s. It is hard to put down because there unexpected things happen throughout the book. I enjoy it because I like to hunt and and love to read about survival. If you share the same interest this is the book for you.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians The Lightning Thief

The Percy Jackson Series is a must read! This is the first book which starts you off in the position of the one of the main protagonists Percy Jackson. He is a 12 year old child who had ADHD and dyslexia. Though those may seem like draw backs, they will help Percy survive. After a monster attack at one of the many, many boarding schools he gets kicked out of Percy is transferred to Camp Half-Blood. There he will find out what is happening to him, who his father is, and how to get his mother back. You are going to have to read it to find what happens next.

Force Out

I am currently reading the book Force Out.  It is by Tim Green.  I think it is a very good book.  Joey and Zach are the best baseball players in their league and there is only one spot open on their all-star team.  Even though they are good friends they get very competitive over the spot on the team.  Overall I rate this book 4 stars. I recommend that you should read this book if you like sports.

Miracle On 49th Street

I am currently about half way through-out  the book and i really enjoy it. Right now Molly heard something she wast suppose to, and ran away somewhere in New York. I recommend this book to any sports fan or anyone just looking for a good book.

Slathbog's Gold

     A book I recently started and really like it. It starts out as a boy named Alex that enters a bookshop but when he did he actuary entered through a magical portal and then signed up for an adventure to slay the dragon Slathbog and claim his horde of gold. Lots of magic, mythical creatures and more.

The Hunger Games

I'm currently reading The Hunger Games. I've read the series before but I wanted to read it again and it's awesome! I like the plot of the story and how intense and suspenseful it is. Also, it's always keeping me hooked on what's going to happen next.

Warriors: Bluestar's Prophecy

I'm really into the Warriors series, and this is another one I really like. It has the same concept of the actual series, and it gives you a taste of what the Clan life was like before the main series. Main character is Bluestar, and she's following this prophecy she got from the ThunderClan medicine cat. She doesn't quite understand it though until the end of the book. I've also read this one a couple times, and it's by far my favorite add on of the series. I really suggest reading this if you like the Warriors series and/or cats.

Amulet 1-5

I loved this series.There´s a girl  who gains her great grandfathers responsibility as stonekeeper, the stone tries to take her body over but she figures out how to keep control of the stone, she meets robots and animal friends.The bad guys are elves.the elf prince is hunting her down to try and regain his father's trust.But they end up combining forces to try and take down the elf king and make peace.All in all, this is a great comic series.

Dork diaries: Tales from a not so fabulous life

I like this book because it talks about many life lessons  about being popular and social. It also tells you to be nice to other kids at your school. I am only on page 83 out of 282 so it is good so far. It also talks about not being a bully at school.

Skeleton Creek

The book im reading in called Skeleton Creek The Raven. I think its an okey book I like the seconed book  a lot better. the reason i rate it an 3.5 stars is because there is only one problem so far. The problem hasent stricked yet like made a move or tried to get the main person. So far whats happenig is Ryan is the main character in being followed by the Raven the reason the Raven want him is because in the last book Ryan messed up his plans to ruin Skeleton creek.

Gone

Gone is a book about a normal boy named Sam that lives with his mom in Perdido Beach California. One day, everyone 15 and older just, poof, disappears with no warning. All the kids run free and think that is´s the best day of their life until they realize that ALL adults (including their parents) are gone. Annother school comes and takes over and things take a turn for the worst (worse than it is already). They find out that they are surrounded by a big dome thing. Also food runs out and the two schools start to disagree.  Gone is a book about sheer survival and getting along with the people around you. I think all kids should read it, it´s scary.

Stargirl

I would give the book Stargirl a overall rating of 4 stars because it was a very good book.  In this book, there is a girl who is very different in a good way of being kind and generous to everyone.  Even though she is nice to everyone the entire school does not accept her and they do not understand why she does the things she does.  I think that this book is a great book about high school and how sometimes certain people are not understood but that is okay.  This would be a great book for anyone who would like to read a good book.

Impossible Things

This book is about Cassidy Sliver a 12 year old girl who gets bullied by other popular girls. While her father is in the Middle East her mother is helping the elderly and painting and never has time for her brother and her.

Her friend abandons her for the mean girls. So far I like the book I think its good.

Hana 

True Blue

True Blue. The Author is Jane Smiley. The horse is True blue. The owner got like in a car crash. So they adopted true Blue. Their dad said to pick out a new name but she liked True Blue. The main character feel off the horse And broke her arm. The book is very interesting.

The Outsiders is a really excellent book. I am only a little bit in to it but i am already hooked.Its about the greasers and the socials. And its really a cliff hanger all the time. Thats why im really hooked on the outsiders.

Maze Runner

I give "Maze Runner" 4 stars out of 5. I really enjoy this book so far, it's a bit confusing and I sometimes have to reread a paragraph for it to make sense. It otherwise is very funny and adventurous. The Maze Runner is fast paced, but I am a fast paced kind of person. Not very hard to get into, but some of the made up vocabulary is still unknown,

Deep and Dark and Dangerous

I'm reading the book Deep and dark and Dangerous.  My teacher read this book to us in fourth grade and, I really liked it so I had to read it again.  Reading it now it sounds way different but it was a while ago so I think its good. The book is about a girl named Ali, she lived with her mom because her dad walked out on them. One day her anut came and was talking about the cabain that her mom and her anut us to go to as kids.  She wanted Ali to babysit her dauther Emma for the summer and her mom started acting really weird and didnt want her to go because of the lake.  Ali didnt under stand why until she found a picture of her anut and her mom with another girl the picture was riped and you couldnt see the girls face. The only thing you could see is the first letter of her name. I dont want to give away to much so you should get this book yourself.

Eragon

I just read Eragon, I give it 5 stars. I liked it alot is about a teenage boy who lives in a small town of Carvahall, Alagaesia. He finds a dragon egg in the spine (the name of a forest). Unaware of it at the time he put it on a shelf thinking its a cool rock. One night he hears noises coming from the egg. When the egg hatches he tries to pet it and gets shocked by the dragon and passes out, his mind is now linked with the dragon. One day some stragers come to town asker where Eragon is. Eragon is not home at the time and the strangers kill his uncle. Eragon wanted revenge so he set out on a long journey with Brom the town storyteller. eragon is the only dragon rider except the evil king Galbatorix. He knows he has to chose a side, the Empire ot the Varden. I cant say much more or I wold be spoiling the book. You must read it!

The Lying Game

I really like The Lying Game because it throws curve balls every chapter. Its about a girl named Emma Paxton she is a foster child who watches a snuff video of her twin getting strangled. She sets out to find her long lost twin Sutton Mercer but soon realizes she was murdered and has to take her place. Emma has to unravel Sutton's murder while not getting caught. Little does Emma know Sutton is still with her following her everywhere as her shadow. There is four books in the series The Lying Game, Never Have I Ever, Two Truths And A Lie, and Hide And Seek.

Pendragon book five black water

I give this a book a five stars becauase it is always changing things up. There is parts were you are nervous and excited. If you like all sorts of war. In the first book it's bascilly knights vs warriors and the bad guy sells explosives to the warriors. Which shouldn't be happening because it will cause the knights to die. They dont want to happen because then the bad guy will win. They second one Is about a lost powerful city called faar they have to stop the bad guy from destroying Faar.

Girl Stolen

This sixteen year old is sleeping in the back of the the car. While her step mom fills a prescription for antibiotics and Cheyenne is her name want the the step mom to leave the car key in the car so if she get cold she can put the heat on. And this guy is try to steal Cheyenne. I think the author did a very good jog witting it.

The Micheal Vey series is really good. It is a little confusing at first but eventually it's very good. It is good because it is about these electric kids (glows) and one glow mom get captured by a group that captures glows and makes them evil. But in all the books so far end weirdly.

The Running Dream

   This book is a really good book. I like it because its suspenseful, surprising, and its never boring. The Running dream is about a 16 year old girl named Jessica and she looses her leg. So now she has to figure out how to live a normal life with 1 leg. This is a great book and I would read it over and over again and it never gets old. Also, its a great book for teens and people that like sports!!

Wild Life

I am reading Wild Life By Cynthia DeFelice. I have only read to page 16 and so far the book is great. The main characters name is Erik and he loves outdoors. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. His "Big Thing" is Hunting.  

Someone Like You

The book Someone Like You. What I have read so far in the book is that a boy named Michale has died and one of his friends is Scarlet and she was really close to him and is now very upset that he has died. And her Friend Halley is trying to help Scarlet get through his death. Things were going to be diffrent for now on they booth knew it. It was gong to be very hard to get passed his death but they know that they just need to stay strong.

Halo First Strike

I am reading first strike so far its a good book especially if you are a gamier. This book earned a 4 star raiding. because it had juicy action so far. Also a lot of violence witch topped it off.

Salem lot

I just read Salem's lot, it was about an author who grew up in Jerusalem's lot. After he got scared   as a child he left the lot. He came back 25 years later to write a new book. He meets a girl and the are best friends. After two strange men show up in the lot strange things start to happen. People start to die and start to come back to life. I loved this book  because its fast paced and there is  never a dull moment. Over all it was a great book.

Grace, Gold & Glory

Grace, Gold & Glory is a great book. It tells about Gabrielle Douglas, The famous gymnasts life. The book tells about her struggles and strengths. Also it tells about her family and how much she loved her sport. This book is really good and you should read it.

One for the Murphys

I have just started One for the Murphys and so far it has caught my attention. Most books I find don´t have a good start which makes me not want to read it, but for only being 14 pages in, it´s great. So far, it is about a girl (who sounds like 13-14 maybe) whose mom is in a coma and her mom has married a guy that Carley does not like. He has hurt her in ways that you will find out once you read the book. Her social worker is bringing her to a foster home and she is not liking her new home... 

I have read a little bit more and I am half way through the book. During SSR once, I had to stop right in the middle of a part that made me not want to put the book down. Any chance I got, I tried to finish the chapter. Also she has connected to the family a bit, but there are 2 people in her foster family that don't particularly care for her. They don't really want her there...

Beautiful Creatures

I really enjoyed this series because it was really adventurous and I never knew what came next so I never wanted to set down a book. The Beautiful Creatures series is about a girl who is a witch and on her 16th birthday she turns either light or dark for the rest of her life. If she turns dark she will be the most powerful dark witch ever and she will hurt lots of people. There are four books in the series, Beautiful Creatures, Beautiful Darkness, Beautiful Chaos, and Beautiful Redemption.

Miracle on 49th street

Miracle on 49th street Is a very good book about a girl named Molly Parker who finds out her father is Josh Cameron the biggest star in the NBA after her mother passes away. Molly is trying to convince Josh that she is his daughter with the help of her best friend Sam Bloom. Molly is currently living with her moms best friend from college Barbra, and her daughter Kimmy.

13 Treasures

I really enjoyed this series because there were many exciting and intense parts. It is a fiction and mythical adventure series. The books are about overcoming many obstacles and fighting for what you think is right. There are three books, 13 Treasures, 13 Curses, and 13 Secrets. They all involve a group of family and friends who try to keep the evil fairy world from clashing with the human world. I never knew what was going to happen next, so it made me want to keep reading!

Lock and Key

Sarah Dessen is my favorite author, and I have read every book she has written. She writes in a way that makes every book so interesting. Shes very descriptive, so you can picture everything that is said. I really enjoy this book, because while I'm reading i feel on the edge of my seat waiting for whats next. Lock and Key is about a teenage girl named Ruby. Ruby has lived with her mother her entire life, and one day her mother never came home. Ruby doesn't know where she is, but she never told anyone she was gone. She took care of herself, until her landlords found out. Ruby was forced to live with her older sister, and she has to attend a new school mid-semester. There is a plus to all this madness, she meets a boy next door. I personally love her books, shes an amazing author, and you feel like your in a movie. I never want to put down her books.

Wild Life

Eric Carlson has just passed the New York hunter safety test and has big plans to go hunting with his best friend but when he arrives home he his Stunned by the fact that his parents have been called into the army reserve in Afghanistan and wont be able to hunt with his friend but where will he go? Fortuna North Dakota,to live with his grandparents that hes never met. He will meet a friend and run away and  try to survive the wilderness by hunting pheasants and living off the land. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and survival books!

Seven Wonders: The Colossus Rises

Jack is on his way to school when the strangest thing happens, he passes out in the middle of the road. When he wakes he finds he is on an island with three strange kids and many adults everywhere. An odd man named Professor Beghad tells Jack that he and the other kids on the island have a rare genetic marker known as G7w. This marker will kill him unless him and the other children are able to find the legendary island, Atlantis. The power of Atlantis was split into 7 pieces and hidden at the seven wonders of the ancient world. Jack and the others must find these pieces before the evil order known as the Massarym do or it will be to late. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and any other fantasy adventure novels.

The Maze Runner

I finished the book and I loved it. The Maze Runner is full of action and always keeps you wanting to read more. The main idea of this book is about kids trying to escape a place called the glade. The glade is surrounded by a huge maze with walls that move every night. The maze is full of deadly grievers who mostly come out at night. When Thomas comes out of the box in the glade he is confused and can´t remember barely anything. The other kids can´t remember most stuff about their past life either. Thomas might just be the kid who changes everyone´s life´s forever. James Dashner is a great author who writes with the power to make you want to read more. The Maze Runner is the first book out of a series of four books. The second book is The Scorch Trails and I can´t wait to read it. This book is amazing and I recommend it to people who want to read a book with action and a little bit of mystery.

Closed For The Season

I just finished reading Closed for the Season and I really liked it, this was my second time reading it and it seems to get better every time. It´s about a boy moving to a new town and making an unlikely friend. There was a murder in the kids house and him and his unlikely friend try to solve the mystery of who killed the lady that used to live in his house. This story is just as much about friendship as it is about solving the crime.

13 Treasures

In the book, there are mischievous fairies. The main character can see the fairies, but nobody believes he that fairies are real. So she gets sent to her grandmother's manor so that her mom can "take a break", but at the manor strange things are happening and old secrets are recovered... most of them related to fairies! This book is book 1 in the 13 treasures trilogy. The series is really good so far, and the 3 books are 13 Treasures, 13 Curses, and 13 Secrets.

Teen Inc.

Teen Inc. is about a boy named Jaidon Beale who was adopted by a corporation, (NEcorp) because the gas valve their company made caused an explosion that killed Jaidons parents when he was an infant.  Then  Jaidon finds information that could shut down the company. Jaidon and friends are trying to find more evidence, but a Mr. Bungrin will do anything to keep it secret including attempted murder.

Ms. Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children

I thought that this book was really interesting because it had a little history in it even though it was fiction. In the start there wasn't much going on but once I got into it I loved it. This book tells a story about little kids going to sort of a refugee house and Ms. Peregrine takes care of them. These children aren't normal though, they have powers that other people don't have. Jacob travels to the house to seek answers about his grandpa who had lived there. He discovered many new things and was a hero to the kids. The last good thing about this book was that it has black and white pictures of the kids and stuff going on in the book. Over all I think that this was a great book and most people would like it.

A decent book, pretty funny. But nothing special, I would prefer if the words in it were a little harder. It also didn't take long to read, I was done in 2 days. So, overall not my favorite book. But it wasn't horrible.  

The Catcher in the Rye

My book is amazing. Its a realistic fiction book. Its really cool to see someones life told through them, about their problems and bumps in the road, and what they do about them. ( especially since its a made up life). I would say its a young adult book so if you cant handle a little adult content don't read it. Other than that its a fabulous book to read.

Crookedstar's Promise- By Erin Hunter

I've read this book twice now, and I really enjoy it. I like all of the warriors books, but this is one of my favorite. If you haven't already heard or read about this series, it's about cats living in a Clan, surrounded by 3 other Clans. The main series are in ThunderClan's point of view, but the add-ons, such as this one, can be in other Clan's point of view. Crookedstar's Promise is about a normal cat that broke his jaw. He got left out because of it, and got a new name "Crookedkit". In one of his dreams, he made a promise, and once he accepted, changed the rest of his life. It all went according to that ONE promise he made when he was still young. I'm a fan of this series, so I'd recommend this to anyone who likes to read about cats and action stories. 

The Otherworldies

This book is a really good page turner. It follows a girl named Fern as she lives her life trying to figure out why these weird things are happening to her. She doesn't know how she can talk to dogs, predict the weather correctly for more than two years or why she keeps disappearing and reappearing somewhere she had been thinking about. I am really enjoying this book so far, it is pretty weird but good and the author does a great job at describing the scenes and putting the images in your head.

Warriors

The warrior cats series is a very good series for people that like...cats...and adventure, and mainly fantasy,Its's a bit hard to follow all the character's name's but other than that it's one of the best series I've read/am reading. It's  not a very popular book here but in some places people never stop talking about it, when they aren't reading it of course.

Lone Wolf

The book is about a wolf who has everything taken away and has to survive in the Beyond. This is a good book because it has action and is compelling to find out what happens to the wolf. The series is called Wolves of the beyond and is a sequel series to Guardians to Ga'Hoole.

The House of Hades By: Rick Riordan

The House Of Hades is the fourth book in the Heroes of Olympus series. These books are amazingly filled with adventure, action, and some romance. If you have read the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series you will love this. With the same characters and time, this book beautifully fuses myths and the modern world. If you haven't read the three other books from this series go give those a read before tackling this one so you know what is going on. A quick recap if you have read the are three is, Percy and Annabeth have fallen into Tarturus and they will try to find the Doors Of Death on that side whilst the rest of the Argo II crew go to find the Doors Of Death on the mortal side. That's my review for this, make sure to give this book a go.

Homecoming

This book was interesting but didn´t have a great plot. It was mostly just a bunch of events happening and there was not really a main point to the story. I thought it was still very descriptive and made a picture in my head. I just finished this and am starting the second book in the series.

The Series of Unfortunate Events

I recently finished reading the series Series of Unfortunate Events and I think it was a pretty good series. There were 13 books total but the first few books kind of repeated the plot in a way until about the fourth book when it started getting interesting. So that's why I downgraded it by one star. I liked how the author would sometimes put weird phrases and vocabulary in the book and then would explain it too because I've never really seen an author write like that and I thought it was cool. Overall, it was a very good and interesting series.

The Fourth Stall Series

The Fourth Stall Series was a really awesome series, because this boy starts a business in a broken school bathroom that nobody uses anymore. They work at their business during recess hours and make lots of money off their business. They give help like giving test answers, homework answers, helping with any other problems,etc. But they aren't good the whole time because someone is always looking for a way to take down their business. This book has really good descriptions and it is really funny.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians By: Rick Riordan

I LOVE this series! This is my second time reading it. It has great action-packed adventures! It is a awesome series and I highly recommend it!

Baseball Great

I liked the book, Baseball Great, because it had a lot of action.  I also like baseball and in this book Josh plays baseball for a very competitive team.  If you like baseball and action I recommend that you read this book.  The author also used to play a lot of sports so he has a lot of background knowledge about sports.

Fact Attack

Fact attack by Max Brallier is a fun little book with tuns of fun facts and scary stories. First of all at the end of a book it has questions at the end you can answer and a lot of them to so read up. Second it has a lot of pictures so its easy for you to read and only 127 pages. Last but not least every fact is not that big or it doesn't have that much words

My Life As A Book

I enjoyed this book a ton I reccommend to anybody that like cartoons and pictures and reading!The book is about a kid finding a newspaper about a girl that drowned and he thought it was intresting then his mom comes to the attic were he is and the newspaper in his hand and his mother takes it away from him and says you should be reading a book instead of newspaper then he gets down from the atic and starts reading. Thats a quick summary for this books and thats all its about and theres pictures off to the side of every page.

The Lying Game

I finished this book and it was very interesting to me. This is a Drama so if you like a lot of drama this is a book that you might want to consider.The thing about this book is these twins are separated by the fact that one is dead. The twin that is still alive has to go into her sisters life witch is not easy because her sister is nothing like her.At the same time the sister that is alive is trying to find the person that killed her sister. Now when she tries to tell the truth about her sister being dead the cops don´t believe her because her sister was a prankster. If you want to find out more your going to have to read the book.

Bras & Broomsticks

Rachel has new shoes 2 hot crushes and up coming step mom, oh and did I mention a little witch Miri for a sister. But there's a problem her up coming step mom is wickedly mean to them but not in front of her rich sweet heart, so Rachel and Miri need to stop them from getting married before its to late.

I love this book with Miri throwing spells left and right.

Amulet 1-5

I loved this series there´s a girl  who gains here great grandfathers responsibility as a stonekeeper the stone tries to take her body over but she figures out how to keep control of the stone, she meets robots and animal, friends.The bad guys are elves.the elf prince is hunting her down to try and regain his fathers trust.But they end up combining forces to try and take down the elf king and make peace.All in all, this is a great comic series.

Running Dream

I love the book Running dream, but I am not dome with it I am about half way through. In this book there is always something going on, and there is always excitement when you are reading. The book tells about a high school girl that has to face some problems in her life.The book is also about fighting through your problems and figuring stuff out, and always having hope in your self. also never giving up on your self or others. That is the reason I gave this book 5 stars!

Red Kayak

I really like this book I am almost finished! It is a great book it's not a very thick book but its really good there's a lot of suspense. The book is about a boy name Brady and he has 2 best friends named Digger and J.T. They are all really good fishermen. Another character is the DiAngelo family, The have 1 kid name Ben and Ben was a cute little boy that Brady babysat. The next day some suspense happened with Ben and Mrs. DiAngelo. I'll let you read the rest! I gave this book 4.5 stars because I thought the book is really good and mysterious. I recommend this book to you

mad cat

I am reading mad cat by Kathy Mackel. It is a good book so far but I don't know much.but I can tell you that it is a girls softball team. right now I am at a part where they are in a game.

butt wart

i'm at the beginning and it stared out really boring. But now that i'm getting farther in the book its not boring. at the beginning a brown blob falls on Zach and Zach doesn't think he will be able to get out.  

Box Out

I really like the book Box Out because it tells a good story of basketball players, who actually try and work hard to earn what they want. I'm about in the middle of the book and it is really good. I chose this book because I really like basketball and its really interesting to me and also its very descriptive. I did 4.5 stars because its not the kind of book I would really give a 5 star, but I think Box Out is really for people who have a passion for basketball, and love it a lot like I do.

The Red Kayak

The book  I read was The Red Kayak, it's a really great book and I enjoyed it a lot. It deserves 4.5 stars because it always made me want to keep on reading and almost never stop. The book was about a few boys who were mad one day, so they drill holes in their neighbors kayak, when the neighbors would use it next it would sink. This book was so interesting, and I hope you would like to read it.

Pinch Hit

I like the book Pinch Hit because it has a lot of baseball in it. The reason why it doesn't have 5 stars is that it is too much about acting and not baseball. The book is confusing sometimes because of the two main characters that switch each chapter. It is really good because of the switch that they try to perform is extremely suspenseful.

Box Out

        The book Box Out is a very good book. The reason why I rated it 5 stars is because you don't know whats going to happen next like when your watching a show and a commercial comes on at the good parts. Another reason I like it is because its about basketball and I like basketball. Also its not a hard book to under stand its clear and you don't have to think when you read it.

CRACK BACK

       I am reading the book  "Crack Back". This book is one of my favorite books already. The reason why I like this book so much is because I love the sport of football, and it is a very detailed book and has a lot of action in it. This book is told from a fist person view. All in all, it is action packed.

Trackers Book 1

I love this book because it deals with technology and many other things. Right now i´m at the part where
these two people are at an investigation interview. I give the book 4 stars so far for how god the book is so far. So I recommend to read it.

The Running Dream

I like this book so far because its about a girl who got in a bus accident and has to get her leg cut off. So Jessica is out of school for a few weeks and tries to handle her life with only one leg and she has to use crutches and she has a wheel chair as well. There are 5 parts in this book and I'm reading part 2 right now and it's an awesome book. I  like this book because it seems real on how she (Jessica) explains how she feels about her leg and how she explains how bad her leg was hurting at first.  That's why I like this book so far because it seems real.

Love Of The Game

I love this book! I am only 50 pages into this book but I really like it. I like this book because it is about football and I enjoy football. In this book its about this 6th grader named Jacob and plays football and loves football. Also he gets picked on the first day of school because he's a "sixer".

In Shattered souls is girl Lenzi learns that she can talk to souls and has to help them. when her dad dies Lenzi can hear more and more voices

The Lost Boy By Dave Pelzer

The Lost Boy, is about a little boy named David but his mom calls him the ¨it" that has hard times at home and his mother beats him and his father doesn't do anything to help him. He steals food at school from his classmates until he got caught do it.

Halo: The Fall of Reach

I haven't finished this book, but it has lots of action in the beginning. I'm on chapter 3. Not much has happened yet except for a big gun fight and blowing up a big computer.

Loser

I loved this book. It was very descriptive. This book is about the growth of Donald Zinkoff, who is called loser due to his cockiness and sometimes cluelessness. The life lesson of Loser is about the human rudeness, the importance of failure, and how any name can be replaced with hero.

The Lost Boy: really good

Im only on page 41 of The Lost Boy and its really good but its really sad. I would recomend you read this book.

The River of no Return

                 I just started the book two days ago and it started very strong. I really like the book so far. Its very frictional. Max is the main character in the story. He and his family are in Venice. They are there because his family is getting a grant for research and has to go to the party.

Mr. Tucket

The book is about people moving on wagons to Oregon. Francis Alphonse Tucket is a 13 year old boy. His birthday is today and he got a rifle for it. He went outside to shoot it while wagons went ahead of him but suddenly Indians surround him and took him as his prisoner. They take Francis to there village and have make him be there kid. He tries to escape but with so many Indians and just him there was no way. After awhile a stranger sets him free and tells him where to go and they meet up there.

Skeleton Creek: The Raven

This is the last book in the Skeleton Creek series. Ryan and Sarah are out to find the last clue. While Sarah is driving home from Film School, Ryan tries to solve the Raven Puzzle. The Raven Puzzle has clues to the treasure they must find.

The fox man

Im on page 29 and it is turning into a god book. If you like hunting and wildlife it is a good book. And it is sad at first but it dos not start off slow. It takes place down south.I would read this cook if i were you.

Eagle Strike

So far in this book it has been really good. It has had action and has a good story to it already.

I would not recommend this book because it didn't really introduce the characters.  Also I would not recommend this book because it doesn't really make any sense.

Stargirl

Stargirl

Stargirl is about a boy who meets a girl named Stargirl Caraway. Stargirl has been home schooled her whole life and she is a little...... different. She plays the ukulele at lunch, wears long dresses, and strangest of all, she doesn´t  care what anyone thinks. The boy (Leo) starts to like Stargirl, but the problem is, no one else does. Overall, this is a great book and I would give it 4 stars.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

I recommend this book because its funny and weird but a good and funny kind of weird.  I just started this book and it is a fun book to read. It isn't a hard read.

Throwing like a girl

This girl she move from Chicago to Texas because her dad got a new job.She does not  have any friends and decided to try out for the softball team.She isn't very good and girls don't like her.I really recommend this book for how far I am.

Diary of a wimpy kid

I like my book because it makes me laugh and it has a lot of pictures and i like pictures.

Mocking jay

The book that I am reading is Mocking jay. This is the third book of the Hunger Games trilogy. I think it is an alright book. The only bad thing about it is that it is slow paced. Compared to the other books there is not a lot of action. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars just because of the lack of action and adventure.

Sword of Waters

So far the sword of waters is a good book it started out slow but know its into the story problem.

I survived the attacks of 2001

I just started the book but so far its pretty good. Its about the twin tower and the plane crashing into the towers and trying to save the people in the building that's all i know so far it pretty good.

Coffeehouse angel

Katrina works with her grandma at here grandma´s coffeehouse and had to work the morning shift to set the store up and she discovers there is a homeless man outside off her grandmother´s coffeehouse. Katrina freaks out and calls her best friend Vincent. Vincent came over to try and calm Katrina down. After Vincent left she had gave the coffeehouse cat the 1 day old scones. She had thought that it would be nice to give the homeless man a scone, a cup of warm coffee, and chocolate covered coffee beans. When she was going to leave for school she checked the back door and he was gone and everything that she had put with it.

The Running Dream!

   I just started this book i'm on chapter 14, and so far it's good. It's about a high school girl whose leg came off and right now she is in the hospital. She is doing well but she is scared she might not get to run again. Her dream has always been to run but ever sense the accident she thinks her life is over. So until I read more of this book I think it is a very inspiring book to anyone especially runners!

Merle's Door

I give this book 5 stars because I thought  when they took in the dog. They would not treat it like family but as I read on it got better. When they named the dog the dog kinda chose it's own name by not responding to being called specific names. When the dog chased the cows I thought for sure that they would leave (Merle) behind.

Dark Waters: Read

It is always the McCann family getting into crimes. Mostly Mungo. Mungo robs, steals, and hurts. He is the number one police suspect, but his brother (the main character) Col disagrees with what Mungo does. Col is a good child. He is nice, kind, but has some anger problems. Him and Mungo are used to getting into trouble, but when Col saves a boy(Dominic) from drowning in a frozen lake everything is downhill from there.
